Background of Tarpley’s Disgraceful Behavior
It appears that Webster Tarpley has not learned any lessons from the past about running his mouth and talking trash about others. There are some who will remember back in 2007 around the 6th anniversary of the September 11th attacks, Webster Tarpley viciously attacked members of the 9-11 truth movement, myself included, and accused us of being COINTELPRO operatives and working for the FBI against the 9-11 truth movement. He did this both from the stage at a 9-11 anniversary event in NYC and also on his radio program. It was later learned that he even commissioned a professional cartoon depicting us in the above mentioned manner.
We know that Tarpley was behind the derogatory cartoon because not long after this fiasco, he released a new book with remarkably similar artwork on the cover. It is my judgement that the same unknown person who did Tarpley’s book cover also penned the infamous and slanderous artwork which depicted me in a very poor light. You can be the judge as to what you think.

Now to Tarpley’s Most Recent and Costly Breakdown
I was recently doing some searching on the internet and came across a story that I wonder how many 9-11 Truth activists have heard about. I certainly had not. The story I am referring to is the fact that Tarpley, in 2016, picked a fight he was destined to lose and in the process revealed what an ignoramus and fool he really is. Blogging at his website, tarpley.net, Webster Tarpley accused Melania Trump, the wife of at that time candidate Donald Trump, of being a high class whore. Not at all a light accusation and The Trump’s did not take kindly to these accusations, which also came from a British tabloid, Mail Media Inc., parent corp for Daily Mail, the tabloid in question.
Lawyers for Mrs. Trump filed suit against both Webster Tarpley and Daily Mail. The suit against Daily Mail was rejected by the courts on jurisdictional grounds, however, Trump lawyers immediately re-filed another lawsuit against the parent company Mail Media to the tune of $150,000,000. This suit was settled out of court, in April 2017, reportedly for a sum of $2.9 million, indeed no small sum of money.
Webster Tarpley was not going to get off the hook either. Seemingly trying to cover his own rear end, Tarpley voluntarily pulled his ill fated blog post and also issued a retraction. I’m guessing here that sometime in the next day or two Tarpley learned that he was about to be sued and in what seems to me another act of stupidity, just two days later, Tarpley has posted another blog post, this time saying:
Melania Trump’s lawsuit against me is without merit. Mrs. Trump is a public figure actively engaged in the Trump for president campaign. We are confident that Mrs. Trump will not be able to meet her high burden of proving the statements published about her on my website were defamatory in any way. Her lawsuit is a blatant attempt to intimidate not only me but journalists of all stripes into remaining silent with regard to public figures. This lawsuit is a direct affront to First Amendment principles and free speech in our democratic society.

What a load of hooey! I cannot think of a higher insult to any woman than to call her a whore! Does helping her husbands campaign for President automatically give you the right to publicly call her a whore? Or being a public figure? And are you so foolish Mr. Tarpley that you do not know that TRUTH is absolute defense in any libel or slander case? If what you said were true, you would have been on solid ground. However, just like your accusations against me, there was not one scrap of evidence to prove your foolish claims about Mrs. Trump. Simply put, you are a liar. I consider myself to be in good company with Mrs. Trump in that we have both been victims of your irresponsible and reckless, foul mouth, or to use one of your favorite terms, your poison pen!
As for your asinine appeal to the First Amendment? Excuse me but with great freedoms come great responsibility! Free speech does not mean you can say, or print whatever you want about anyone. If you are a liar, and you are, the First Amendment does not protect your right to be a liar!
All this to realize that it was too little, too late for Mr. Tarpley. This time his vile and disgusting mouth was going to cost him.
Webstger G. Tarpley was proven to be a fool when in February of 2017 the lawsuit against him was settled out of court for what Trump’s lawyer has called a “substantial sum”.
Mr. Tarpley, you are an idiot and a disgrace to all mankind. You are also a coward and a liar. Thanks for giving me one of the greatest occasions to laugh I’ve ever had.
